These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Pocket Tour Guide mobile application and website (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

The Service

Pocket Tour Guide plans and narrates personalized, self-guided walking tours using AI-generated content. The Service is provided for informational and entertainment purposes.

Accounts

You may use parts of the Service without an account. If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and be able to form a binding contract to use the Service.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including attempting to disrupt it, access it in unauthorized ways, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

Tours you share, and content from other travelers

You can choose to share a tour publicly, where other travelers see it in Explore. You keep ownership of what you share, and you grant us the right to display it in the Service. Only share a tour if you are happy for anyone to read it.

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. Do not share a tour that is hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, violent, discriminatory, deceptive, unlawful, or that puts anyone at risk — and do not use a shared tour to advertise, spam, or publish another person's private information.

Every shared tour can be reported from inside the app, and any traveler can be blocked so their tours no longer appear to you. We review reports and act on them within 24 hours, and content flagged by several travelers is removed from Explore automatically in the meantime. Acting may mean removing a tour from Explore, or suspending the account that shared it — permanently, and without notice, for serious or repeated breaches.

Tours shared by other travelers are their content, not ours. They are generated by AI and reviewed by nobody before they appear, so treat them with the same caution as the rest of the Service.

AI-generated content

Tour stories, routes and answers are generated automatically and may be inaccurate or incomplete. Always use your own judgment and follow local laws, signs and safety guidance while walking. Do not rely on the Service for navigation, safety or emergency decisions.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
